About ListLift

ListLiftis an independent web app that turns an Etsy seller's own listings into ready-to-post Pinterest descriptions and Instagram captions — written in the seller's own voice — plus a matching branded image and a weekly posting plan. It exists because the hard part of marketing a handmade shop isn't making one good post; it's showing up every week without the writing turning into filler that any shop could have posted.

What ListLift does

You connect your own Etsy shop through Etsy's official authorization screen, which grants ListLift read-only, listings-only access. ListLift reads a listing you pick — its title, description, tags, price, and images — and drafts social copy from it. It learns your writing style from the words you have already written about your own products; it is not trained on your content, and your content is never used to build or improve AI models.

Alongside the copy, ListLift composes a ready-to-post image from your own product photo. That composition is deterministic — text, framing, and colour laid over your photograph. ListLift does not generate product imagery, and no pixel of your product is invented.

How publishing works

You approve every draft before it can go anywhere. With a connected Pinterest account, you can publish an approved pin immediately, or schedule that same approved pin for a time you pick — a scheduled pin goes out at that time without you present. Instagram captions are copied and posted by you; ListLift does not publish to Instagram. ListLift never publishes a draft you have not approved, and never picks the time for you.

Limits ListLift holds itself to

• It never edits or publishes changes to your live Etsy listings.
• It never manages orders or messages your buyers.
• It never reads another seller's shop, and never collects Etsy data by scraping — everything comes through Etsy's official API.
• It never sells or shares your shop data with third parties.
• It never trains AI models on your content.
• It never generates product imagery.
• It never claims any affiliation with Etsy, Inc.

Who it's for

ListLift is built for Etsy sellers and handmade shop owners who write their own listings and want their social posts to sound like the same person. It is most useful if you have listings worth promoting and no time to write about them every week.

It is a poor fit if you want bulk automated posting with no review step, keyword research or Etsy SEO scores, or content about products that aren't yours — ListLift does none of those, by design.

Independence

ListLiftis an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, certified by, or partnered with Etsy, Inc. “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. ListLiftuses the Etsy API under Etsy's terms, with access limited to the shop you connect.

Pricing

Who builds it

ListLiftis built and run by one independent software engineer. The idea wasn't mine — it came from a friend who runs her own Etsy shop. She had tried the social-posting tools already on the market and found that everything they produced sounded the same: templated copy any shop could have posted. She wanted something that sounded like a person had written it. That is the whole reason this exists. She was its first user, and she is still the one who tells me when a draft doesn't sound human.
