These are the standard rates the calculator above uses. Etsy charges most US sellers three fees on every sale, plus a fourth only when an order comes from an Etsy-paid ad.

Does free shipping cost me more in Etsy fees?
No. Etsy's transaction and processing fees already apply to the shipping you charge the buyer, so the buyer-paid total is the same whether shipping is a separate line or baked into the price. Folding it in doesn't raise your fees or lower your profit.
What price should I set if I offer free shipping?
Add what you currently charge for shipping to your item price. The calculator does this and confirms your take-home stays the same — charge $5 shipping on a $25 item today, and you'd list it at $30 with free shipping.
Is free shipping worth it on Etsy?
